Monty
Monty was living in a field with up to 100 other cats that we and other volunteers were feeding, monitoring and caring for, for years. In 2024 the owners of the property began installing mesh fencing indicating the start of new construction. Luckily our rescue had already relocated to North Florida and began building our sanctuary for the cats and was able to house only a small number of cats until an additional enclosure could be built with additional donations raised. Monty was one of many that has tested positive for FIV and is now safely being monitored daily due to his compromised immune system.
