Pickles
DOB: 3/18/21

Pickles was one of four kittens rescued from a bank parking lot in Miami. At about 4 weeks old, they were in poor health and starving from either being dumped or abandoned by their mother that had possibly been killed or even trapped and removed from the property. Shortly after rescue, one of her siblings who we named Bean, was too sick to recover with treatment and passed away from his illness. Another sibling, named Milo, was adopted after he reached 3 months old. Pickles was bonded with her sister Brownie for the first couple years and adopting pairs is not always an easy task, but we are committed to not splitting up bonded pairs so they have remained at the sanctuary.
We have unbonded the two girls as they have grown more independent in this environment and are not as close as they once were. Both girls have stunning personalities of their own, but different. Brownie is a social butterfly who loves all the other cats and loves being around them. Pickles wants to the the boss of everyone and wants all the attention to herself.
As with her sister, we are thrilled and blessed to have Pickles with us at the sanctuary as well. I would miss Pickles excitement as she runs to the door each morning and evening to greet me if and when she were to be adopted. She really is a darling little cat.
