Yuki

Yuki had been suffering with diarrhea for the better part of a year and was owned by a man that refused to bring her to a vet to receive treatment. Instead, he chose to abuse her due to his anger about her having accidents around the house caused by such a serious case of diarrhea.

Finally, we able to rescue Yuki and get her the medical attention she so desperately required. Testing showed that Yuki was positive for Feline Coronavirus and also suffered from a secondary bacterial infection due to the first virus going untreated.

Yuki has been on a long road of medications and requires a prescription food only diet to hopefully one day build her immune system up strong enough to fight off the Coronavirus. Yuki is tested each year for the virus. As long as the virus is present, she must remain isolated from the others with her own litter pan since this is the means of transmission of the virus.

All kittens or any adult cat that may be immunocompromised are all vulnerable to this virus.
