Sam
Sam was just eight weeks old when he was seen running on the sidewalk along a busy road. We pulled over and lured him to us with some food. Relieved he was away from the road and off the street we rush him home, washed him up and fed him.
To our amazement, we were having trouble getting this cute little guy adopted. Nobody at that time wanted to adopt an orange tabby because of their crazy personality. Sam loves to play, but as he got older, we noticed that he has a very dominate personality and that turned people off. Sam also has a super affectionate side which is also a very common personality trait for orange tabby cats.
Sam became very frightened by the knock at the door or ringing of the doorbell. This sends him into hiding immediately into any cabinet he can open or shelf he can fit under. He has a strange fear of load noises and strangers, but will fetch a toy and bring back as good as any dog I’ve owned. Whatever is going on that makes Sam so unique is just fine, we love him and he makes us laugh.
