Red
Red is a big old Tom Cat that showed up at our home one day for a nice meal and a dry place to sleep. He continued this routine for several days before deciding to call our house his home. Maybe it was the other cats that lured him in, I don’t know, but nobody in the neighborhood claimed him as their own, so in our house he stayed.
He hung out in the garage a lot to stay out of the heat, bad weather and away from the ducks. He does not like you to get too close to him, but we are working with him each day to earn his trust.
He’s getting to be an old man now and these days just loves to eat, drink and relax all day! He definitely gets all of that, and then some, here at the sanctuary. He’s also learning how to make more feline friends.
