Cloud, Leo, Misty & Velma
Cloud, Leo, Misty & Velma are all from a litter that were trapped for TNVR in PB County at six months old by a partner in rescue that did not want to release these babies back onto the street after being spayed/neutered.
She instead called and asked us if we would accept them in order to give them a chance knowing that they could possibly remain feral and not able to be adopted. This would mean that they would live their entire lives at the sanctuary, but would be safe from harm or illness from living a life on the streets.
None of the four cats have allowed us to pet them, but has interacted with us and only one seems to still run to hide sometimes while we are present. I’m hoping that our positive interactions will gain more trust with each day that passes. They do watch, close by, the loving greetings that some of the other cats are showing and hold out hope that they will partake in the same greetings one day.
