Gigi

Gigi was abandoned and dumped at one of our large feral locations that we monitor and feed daily. Sadly, this was not uncommon, but luckily Gigi was starving enough for us to trap her immediately and scan for a microchip.

Unfortunately, there was no microchip, but we continued to look for any signs of a lost cat. It was apparent to us right away that Gigi was very uncomfortable being around people and did not want to interact with us at all.

She played and interacted with the other cats and kittens very well and appeared to have a more submissive personality. As much as we tried working with her, as well as give her enough space to feel comfortable she just wasn’t warming up to the idea of personal contact.

To this day, Gigi feels she can trust us, knows we are there to feed and care for her, but still does not want to be touched. We will continue building on that trust because we believe they all need to feel love, not just sense it.
